Can't Get Enough Celebrations

I admit it.  I'm greedy for Celebrations.  We've had a few things to celebrate over here, and I don't want the celebrations to end just yet!  We have some unfinished business in the world of sports.

First up - celebrating the dedication of our baseball field to longtime coach/teacher Mr. K and his assistant coach/teacher Mr. D.  Thirty-plus years of coaching and teaching, impacting kids who are now adults with more kids in your program...what a blessing!
Next up...Conference Championship game.  Last year this team beat us, so we had to share the title with them.  This year, we weren't in a sharing mood.
More wonderful action photography by yours truly.  (The kick was good, by the way!)
By the time I got done selling football clothing in the endzone and got over to mid-field, the team was already done celebrating their 5th Straight Six Rivers Conference Championship.  Oh well, I guess we're still celebrating it...till next season, right?  We have much to be proud of and grateful for!
But we're not done.  (I told you I'm greedy.)  We want another celebration.  We want one each and every week of the playoffs, because we don't want this season to end.  We play Highland again tonight in Level Two, and it's going to be a big one.
Here's hoping the celebration continues for 4 more games!!
GO CHIEFTAINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovin' on Ally

It's the annual 1998-Birthday-Buddies picture!  Mickey wonders why his buddy keeps getting taller and he doesn't!!
 The A & W club.....
...with Roosie...

 ...and Shaezy Shae....
...and Dad...

...who has suddenly grown a beautiful head of hair ?!
...and her Big/Little Brother.  Our middle school kids.  Growing up wayyy too fast.

Birthday cake the night after her birthday.  She will be embarrassed that I tell you, but her actual birthday night didn't go very well.  We took her to Applebees, and she lost her meal one bite into the entree.  Back to the docs we go...trying to figure out why her digestive tract isn't working properly.

I ask for your prayers for our beautiful young lady.  She doesn't like the attention, but I don't think she'll mind this time.   God has big plans for you, Ally, and we'll get this thing figured out soon!

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”--John 16:33

Silverlicious!

Wynne loves the Pinkalicious books, so when she lost her front tooth (and the Tooth Fairy didn't visit that night - maybe she forgot?!), it was time to make a Silverlicious reference.  Maybe Wynne wasn't behaving as well as she should have at school...and maybe she needed to stay "above the line" and not talk out so much.
I think that did the trick.  The Tooth Fairy visited on the 2nd night, and this little girl is 4 quarters richer! :) :)
