Nothing gives your mother a bigger thrill than seeing you get along, play together, laugh together, and stick up for each other. You share a bond that is at times frustrating, at other times awesome....and at all times, God-given. Never forget the blessing you've been given in yourself...and in each other!
There's so much more I could write if it weren't a school night (the eve of your birthday) and still a lot of work to do around the house...but I had to take the time to reflect a bit on the miracle that is you. I remember when you were in the NICU and I thought, "Will they ever be healthy? Will they ever be big enough to come home?" and for the next few years, "Will they ever sleep without nebulizers?" "Will we ever sleep through the night?" "Will they have learning delays?" And it was in those times that I was given God's blessed assurance, that He was in control, and that all the plans I made were never going to amount to a hill of beans without His direction and His ordaining. You girls brought me closer to Him than anything else has ever done. My wish for you on this birthday is that you draw closer to Him and let Him direct your paths...and that your paths will never stray too far from each other.
