Experimenting with Kids
That title could probably raise a few eyebrows at Social Services!
Last month at our after-school Bible club, we learned the steps of the Scientific Process and did some simple science projects for a mini science fair. I never got around to posting about it...till now. Here are some of the kids and their projects.....
my little Shaeby Shaeby learning about resonance with pendulums...
...our son's arm getting tired as he waits for a water-filled balloon to pop already! (He stopped timing after 4 and a half minutes.)
J. and the infamous Diet Coke/Mentos experiment (turns out Diet Pepsi is even MORE reactive than Diet Coke)...
...A's homemade tornado...
...N discovering about inertia and angular momentum...
...C. and Paige trying to make a "wall" of fabric to catch a raw egg (note the failed attempt behind them)!...
...and Ally's experiment with air pressure differences.
There were a few more projects, but I didn't get good pictures of them. Hopefully the kids learned a little about science and a lot about how God created this entire world and the laws of nature within it. Cool beans!!!
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.--Jeremiah 33:3
