All The Trimmings

No, dear readers, this is not a food post. I just wrote that title to be clever. The girls got haircuts!!!
And cut they did. Here's Paige 10 inches before the cut. She's so excited!


Shae was also ready for the big plunge.

I was so proud of the girls. They donated their hair to Locks of Love!


We go to the technical college's student salon to save big money. The one thing you don't save, however, is time. It took TWO HOURS to do 3 haircuts. This mom isn't complaining, however. The kids were really good. Cy was such a good sport waiting for his sisters. He used the Picto-chat on his DS to storyboard a new dinosaur film.


Allison had 5 inches cut off and it really looks pretty. She was ready to go shorter for basketball season. She had the lone male student in the cosmetology program (pictured at right). She liked that because she said, "He actually talked to me!" This is not to knock at the salon students in general--they are very good at what they do; they just are concentrating on their work and making sure their instructors approve, as well.

Wynnie kept herself busy for two hours chatting with clients, students, and asking everybody who would listen, "Will you do my nails?" Finally one student freed up to take her on.
How adorable is this.

My little ladies, all spruced up for the Thanksgiving holiday. (Wynne was making sure she didn't ruin her fingernail polish, of course.)
