New Additions to County B Fun Park!

Welcome to the farm, Jordy and Percy!

Mark had a "memorable" Memorial Day planned.  Let's all pile in the truck and go on a Craigslist ride to pick up some pygmy goats!

They would jump out of the calf pen in the truck bed, so we lucky girls in the back got to hold (TRY to hold) the goats in the back seat.
before the ride home

Goats have very hard little skulls.  Getting a head-butt to the lip is kind of an ouch!
an hour into the ride home (trying to keep the boys calm...)
Home at last!  I got to name them (I think due to the ride home), so the white one is Jordy (Nelson) and the black one is Percy (Harvin).
 They're shy around us still....
...but I think they like their new surroundings!

They were born in February.  The guy we bought them from runs a campground and has a pony, several goats, pygmy goats, and a llama.  He said that they will get about double this size.  Right now they are not much bigger than Rudy.

Speaking of Rudy, he isn't too thrilled with them.
"Why do they get a bigger yard than me???  Lemme outta here!!"
And the menagerie continues :)
"In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." (Job 12:10)
