It's a new year, a great time for learning something new, right?

At the Engelke Christmas we learned that
1. Cool cousins in their 20s have awesome nail colors to share with their younger girlie cousins!

2. Cool cousins in their 20s take the time to play games with you and share hair accessories with you, too.


3. Boys never outgrow their love of video games and laser tag. (Even boys who are law students and married men.)


4. Grandma Engelke sews the niftiest stuff!!


5. My dad will stay up late for 2 reasons--ball game on TV or cribbage game on the table.

6. You're never too young to learn the Cuban Shuffle.

7. Godmothers give you the neatest gifts!

8. In addition to the obvious perk of being the baby of the family, your own kids don't have to wait very long to get their Grandpa-Grandma gifts! ;0)
